For the lithium bromide-water absorption heat pump and its heating system which recovers the waste energy of exhausted turbine steam from the power plant, calculates the thermal parameters of heat pump units by VB program, and analyses the effect of regulation modes on heat pump characteristics and heating energy consumption. Results show that, for the direct connected water heating system, the heat pump consumes the least energy with the integrative flow regulation mode under relatively lower outdoor air temperature condition, and it also consumes the least energy with the regulation mode of centralized regulation with flow varied by steps under relatively higher outdoor air temperature condition.
